Charlotte

This is Charlotte. She'll be on her way in a few days to a little girl named Kylie. This little girl is only 2 years old, and is fighting leukemia.

When I heard about Kylie, my heart just broke. I have 2 small children of my own. Boober is 1 1/2, Sweet Pea is 3. It hits so close to home.

Kylie is losing her hair from her chemo treatments (you'll notice Charlotte is hair-less). She's scratching herself raw. How do you keep a 2 year old from scratching herself? Maybe keeping her hands busy will help. Hopefully, a special doll made just for her will help keep those little hands busy. I hope Charlotte brings all sorts of comfort to her throughout her battle.

Marnie the mermaid

This is Marnie. She's a Waldorf style mermaid doll. She's stuffed with clean, carded wool, and is made with natural materials. Marnie is wearing a few sequins for sparkle, and a single pearl on a glistening strand. Her top closes at the back with 2 snaps.

I'm really happy with her face and her hair. It just came out perfectly!

Marnie loves to lounge on rocks. She's a mermaid - it's not all that surprising.
