So who's up for a giveaway?

I'm ready to kick this thing off, how about you?

THE MAKING FRIENDS 'ONE YEAR IN BUSINESS' CELEBRATION GIVEAWAY

First things first, let's talk rules.
1) You are NOT required to 'like' Making Friends on Facebook, favourite Making Friends on Etsy, or follow this blog. However, if you like what you see well enough to want to win it -- well the decent thing to do is to follow in some way, right? So while you don't have to - I would love it if you did.
2) One entry per household. You're on the honour system here. Don't break my heart.
3) There will be ONE DOLL given away. The point of making 3 dolls was to give you a choice and me a push. I think it worked.
4) To enter, please comment on this blog post. Include which doll you'd like to win (which one you like best), what you'd name her, and a way to contact you. The contact info cannot be facebook - I'm not flying in the face of their rules. Etsy would be fine. Email would be fine. Also, don't flake out. I need to know which doll you want in no uncertain terms. If you don't make a choice and your number is drawn, I will move on to the next entry. Ie you'll be winning it for the person under you.
Please keep in mind that you can comment anonymously, but you will need to leave a way to contact you.
5) The giveaway begins now and will close on July 4, 2011. The winner will be drawn at noon EDT, and will be notified immediately.
If it becomes apparent I've left anything out, I'll revisit this post to edit.

Here's our chocolate doll. She's a brand-new release for Making Friends! A 14" Waldorf doll and new to the line-up.

If you look real close at her hair, you'll see some sparkle. It's hard to capture on camera - but gets lots of notice in person!

Next up, the mocha girl.

Her hair is a layered wig, with lots of great blue highlights.

Look at those colours! This is something I probably wouldn't have made on my own - so, a big thanks to you! I'm so pleased with how it turned out!

    I would love the rainbow girl. If we got her we would name her Arissa, in honour of Aristotle (the first historical person to actually study rainbows). Yes we are geeky like that. They really are all lovely though and it was a very difficult choice.

    They're all SO lovely! I particularly adore the mocha girl, with her stunning dark-with-blue hair and classically Waldorf neutral expression. However, if we were so lucky as to win a doll, it would be a gift for our preschooler, who is exclaiming excitedly (and LOUDLY) over the beautiful rainbow doll.     I came over from LSG-P to look at the dolls, and OMG they're gorgeous! So beautiful. Lucy had a good long look, and if you pick us, then it's the Rainbow Girl that she would want to have; she says that doll has the same hair as Starlight in the Rainbow Brite show.     The chocolate doll is awesome (though the rainbow-haired doll is special as well). I'd name her Marie, after Marie Curie. My daughter is named after a fearless, strong woman as well and I'd love to encourage that in her. (Though who knows whether the name would stick once she can talk!)

    I love the chocolate doll, for my little girl as I live in a super-white state and I want her to grow up knowing that people come in all colors. Sounds cheesy but it is important to me. I think in my mind her name might be Vitalene (saw this on a gravestone and Loved It) but her real name would have to wait until Little Miss grew up enough to name her.

    My daughters FAVE colour is PURPLE so I have to choose the chocolate gil with the purple eyes and sparkle in her hair!     I love your dolls! My little one would go crazy over the rainbow doll (as for me it would be a tough choice I really like mocha to! but it will be for her so rainbow it is!)     While I really love the mocha girl, I'll have to add another vote for the Rainbow girl, because that's who I would have picked as a kid. As far as naming goes, I'd leave that up to my daughter, who, at 10 months old, would likely go with something like Dadadadadaadadadada-nnnnn.
